AirAsia plane wreckage: Singapore Navy vessels alter course
Singapore, Dec 31: Three vessels of Singapore Navy have change their original search area for the wreckage of an AirAsia plane and are expected to reach their new location Wednesday morning, a media report said.

The three vessels - RSS Supreme, RSS Valour, and RSS Persistence - had planned to reach the search zone, closer to the island of Beilitung, to help with the search operation, Xinhua reported citing Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao daily.
Another vessel - the MV Swift Rescue - departed Tuesday night. The submarine support and rescue vessel is equipped with sensors and sonars to detect signals from the plane's black box.
Singapore has so far sent two C-130 aircraft and four vessels to join the search operations.
