After Pakistan Snub Clip, Video Of Indian Flag Lighting Up Burj Khalifa Goes Viral

A day after a clip went viral where some Pakistani nationals vented out their anguish for not displaying the Pakistan flag on Burj Khalifa in the UAE, a video of the world's tallest building being lit up by the Indian national flag has caught the attention of the netizens.

The latest video shows the Indian national anthem being played while the national flag is being displayed on the world's tallest building.

It comes a day after a video depicted a scene where hundreds of Pakistanis expressed their frustration when the Pakistan flag was not illuminated on the Burj Khalifa as anticipated. In the video, large groups of Pakistani citizens gathered near the Burj Khalifa at midnight, hopeful that the iconic structure would be adorned with the hues of their national flag.

Burj Khalifa's Clarification

However, the official statement from the building stated that the Pakistani national flag was indeed lit up on the building.

The statement, posted on Instagram, read: "#BurjKhalifa lights up to celebrate The Islamic Republic of Pakistan's Independence Day. Wishing the people of Pakistan a day filled with pride, unity and prosperity as you celebrate the rich heritage and achievements of your great nation.
