Afghanistan: 11 injured in blast outside Save the Children Organization office in Jalalabad
One suicide bomber detonated his explosives at the gate of the Save the Children Organization's office in PD3 of Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province on Wednesday. At least 11 people were wounded in the attack. No outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Save the Children Fund, commonly known as Save the Children, is an international non-governmental organization that promotes children's rights, provides relief and helps support children in developing countries.
According to a spokesman for the provincial governor, Attaullah Khoghyani, clashes between insurgents and security force members are ongoing, reported Afghan media. According to reports, children at a nearby school were seen running from the area as gunfire rang out.
The attack comes just days after at least 18 civilians were killed, and 22 others were wounded, during a deadly siege on a major hotel in Afghanistan's capital, Kabul.
