Afghanistan: Explosion heard in Jalalabad, two killed

An explosion was heard in the city of Jalalabad in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan on Wednesday, as reported TOLO News. Eyewitnesses say shooting is ongoing.

The explosion reportedly happened in PD 1 area of the city, close to MP Zahir Qadir's house, a spokesman for the provincial governor Attaullah Khoghyani confirmed.

Nangarhar governor confirmed two of MP Zahir Qadir's bodyguards were shot dead before the explosion was heard at the MP's house in Jalalabad.
