Afghanistan: 18 militants killed in raid on Taliban hideouts
Kabul, July 28: At least 18 militants were killed and 17 others injured when security forces raided Taliban positions in Afghanistan's Dasht-e-Archi district, an official said on Thursday.
According to the official, the security forces backed by aircraft attacked Taliban hideouts on Wednesday, Xinhua news agency reported.
Over 20 militants were also arrested in Sari Pul province, the official added.
