Afghanistan: 16 civilians killed in foreign forces airstrike

At least sixteen civilians were killed and six others were wounded in an airstrike carried out by foreign forces against militants of the Islamic State terrorist group in Afghanistan's Haska Mina district on Friday.

Afghanistan has been experiencing significant political, social and security-related instability for decades, as terrorist organizations, including the Daesh and the Taliban radical movement (banned in Russia) continue to stage attacks against civilian and military targets.
