5.5-magnitude quake hits Afghanistan

Kabul, Feb 21: An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted Afghanistan on Sunday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The quake hit 43 km south of Jarm, said a news agency cited the USGS as saying. The epicentre had a depth of 176.74 km.
