5.7-magnitude quake hits Indonesia

Jakarta, April 26: An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter Scale hit Tanahmerah, Indonesia on Tuesday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicentre, with a depth of 74.97 km, was initially determined at 4.4689 degrees south latitude and 140.1815 degrees east longitude, Xinhua news agency reported.
