Both Andrii Yermak, the Presidential Chief of Staff, and Kharkiv Governor Oleh Syniehubov confirmed that a store and a cafe in the village of Hroza, located in the Kharkiv region, were shelled by Russian troops around 1 p.m.

Zelenskyy reached Granada in the southern region of Spain to participate in the summit of the European Political Community.

The attack occurred when Zelenskyy reached Granada in South Spain for a meeting of the European Political Community. The community was established following Russia's complete takeover of Ukraine in February 2022.

"The key for us, especially before winter, is to strengthen air defence, and there is already a basis for new agreements with partners," he said in a statement posted on his Telegram channel.

Last year in winter, Ukraine was the focus of Russia's missile and drone strikes, which had a significant impact on their energy system and other key infrastructures, causing consistent power blackouts throughout the nation. Despite the considerable harm, Ukraine's power system demonstrated notable resilience and adaptability. However, as winter approaches, there are fears that Russia may intensify their attacks on power facilities.

Zelenskyy remarked that the Granada summit will concentrate on collective efforts towards global food security and maintaining freedom of navigation in the Black Sea. This comes after Russian forces have attacked Ukrainian ports in the wake of Moscow's departure from a U.N.-backed grain agreement, which aimed at safeguarding grain exports from the besieged nation's ports.

The UK Foreign Office has revealed information indicating that Russia might plant underwater explosives near Ukrainian harbors intending to attack civilian vessels and fault Ukraine for it.
