The quake, measuring magnitude 4.8, struck with force, causing stone and mud-brick homes to crumble under its impact. The National Center for Seismology reported the details of the earthquake: "Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.8, Occurred on 28-08-2023, 10:05:08 IST, Latitude: 36.41 & Longitude: 70.44, Depth: 173 Km."
