21 killed in Afghanistan terror attack

Kabul, Sep 7: At least 21 people were killed Sunday when militants attacked a security check point in Afghanistan, an official said.

"Several militants raided a police check point on the outskirts of Ghazni city at 3.00 a.m.," the official told Xinhua.

According to the official, the victims were 18 militants and three policemen.

In the attack, four policemen were kidnapped by the militants, the official added.

The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the incident.
