200 people feared dead as boat capsizes in Mediterranean
Washington, Aug 6: At least 200 people were feared dead after a boat carrying around 600 people capsized off the coast of Libya, media reported.
The rescue team managed to save 373 people and 25 bodies have been fished out in the continuing search, Wall Street Journal reported.

"The death toll is likely to go up," said Falvio Di Giacomo, spokesperson for Geneva based international organisation for migrant.
According to reports, the mishap took place in the Mediterranean on Wednesday when migrants when they moved to one side after seeing two rescue boats approaching.
Around 800 migrants were killed in Mediterranean in April this year.
Italy and Greece have seen a surge in the number of migrants reaching its shores: About 97,000 people have tried to reach Italy so far this year, with another 90,500 landing in Greece.
"More than 2,000 people have died so far this year trying to cross the Mediterranean, the vast majority of whom were seeking to land in Italy, according to latest data released by the International Organization for Migration.
