2 dead in house explosion linked to Barcelona attack
Two persons have died in a house explosion that is linked with the Barcelona attack. The incident was connected to the devastating terrorist attack in Barcelona's Las Ramblas, which killed at least 13 people and injured more than 100 others, an official from Catalan Police said.
According to reports, the explosion was in the village of Alcanar in southern Catalonia. It was a squattered house, and after the explosion firefighters found some 20 gas cylinders inside. Several other houses were affected by the blast.
Two men have been arrested in the wake of the devastating terror attack on Barcelona's busy Las Ramblas street, while another two have been reportedly shot dead by police officers during an exchange of gunfire.
