1st GOP Presidential Debate In USA: See The 8 Republican Candidates Debating In Milwaukee
The Republican National Committee has announced the eight candidates who have qualified for the first 2024 presidential primary debate, which will be held on Wednesday in Milwaukee. The candidates are:

- Doug Burgum, governor of North Dakota
- Chris Christie, former governor of New Jersey
- Ron DeSantis, governor of Florida
- Nikki Haley, former governor of South Carolina and former US ambassador to the United Nations
- Asa Hutchinson, former governor of Arkansas
- Mike Pence, former vice president
- Vivek Ramaswamy, entrepreneur and author
- Tim Scott, senator from South Carolina
The candidates met the RNC's criteria for qualification, which included polling at least 1% in three national polls or 2% in two early-state polls, and raising at least USD 10 million.
The debate will be hosted by Fox News and will be moderated by Bret Baier. It is expected to be a high-stakes event, as the candidates will be looking to make a good impression on voters and establish themselves as front-runners in the race.
Former President Donald Trump, who is the frontrunner in most polls, has not qualified for the debate because he has not met the fundraising requirement. Trump has said that he will not participate in the debate, but he is expected to be a major topic of discussion.
The debate is also likely to be overshadowed by protests that are planned outside the Fiserv Forum. The Milwaukee police have said that they will be closing down several roads around the arena to accommodate the protests.
- Juneau between 6th and Martin Luther King
- Highland from MLK to Vel Phillips
- Highland from 6th to 8th
- Vel Phillips from Highland to State
- Vel Phillips from McKinley to Juneau
- 5th from McKinley to Juneau
- 6th between State and McKinley
- Winnebago from 6th to the roundabout
The 2024 Republican presidential primary is expected to be a crowded and competitive race. The eight candidates who have qualified for the first debate are just a few of the many potential contenders.
