17 militants killed in Pakistan airstrike

Islamabad, Sept 14: At least 17 suspected militants were killed in air strikes in Pakistan's North Waziristan region, on Monday.

Sources said that military planes pounded suspected militant hideouts at Gorbaz and Zoi in Shawal tehsil near the Afghan border on Sunday.

Seventeen `militants' were killed and several others injured.

Four hideouts were also destroyed.
