12 militants killed in Pakistan
Islamabad, March 1: At least 12 militants were killed by security forces in Pakistan's North Waziristan area as they advanced to capture strategic points in the valley, the media reported on Tuesday.
According to sources, the suspected militants, including a commander identified as Hezbollah, were killed when three hideouts were destroyed by the forces on Monday, Dawn online reported.
The offensive launched last week to eliminate militant hideouts in the area has killed 50 militants, a military official and four soldiers.
