11 rebels killed in Iran clashes

Tehran, June 28: Eleven rebels was killed in clashes with Iran's Revolutionary Guards, Commander of Revolutionary Guards Mohammad Hossein Rajabi said on Tuesday,June 28.

The Revolutionary Guards forces identified the 11 "counter-revolutionary" rebels as they intended to cross into Iran through its border city of Sarvabad in Kurdisan, a news agency on Tuesday quoted Rajabi as saying.

At least three troops from the Revolutionary Guards were also killed, he said, without specifying the date of the clashes.
