Army plane crashes in eastern Algeria, 103 killed

Algiers, Feb 11: A military aircraft belonging to the Algerian Air Force crashed on Tuesday in the country's eastern Oum El Bouaghi province, leaving 103 people dead, media reported.

The air traffic control at Algeria's Constantine Airport lost contact with the C-130 Hercules aircraft, Xinhua cited Ennahar newspaper as learning from local sources, adding that 103 people on board were killed in the crash.
