He further explored trends in compensation transparency and the rise of AI in HR ecosystems, including predictive compensation models and attrition forecasting. “AI doesn’t replace HR professionals,” he explained. “It gives them evidence-based tools to make faster, fairer, more strategic decisions.”

Introducing BioWhistle

One of the highlights of the episode was Santhosh’s recent innovation BioWhistle, an AI-powered vehicular health monitoring pod. Designed to track stress, fatigue, and health signals during commutes or travel, BioWhistle integrates with Workday wellness dashboards.

Tested with 100 participants across varied sectors, BioWhistle’s results were striking: reaction times increased by 38% after long drives, while Workday-integrated alerts enabled preventive HR actions in 76% of cases, reducing unplanned sick leave by 22%. Santhosh emphasized that privacy remains paramount, with local edge AI processing, encryption, and GDPR compliance built into the system.

Alongside his innovations, Santhosh spoke about his global engagements as a speaker, jury member, and editorial board leader. These roles, he noted, allow him to bridge academia and industry while nurturing the next generation of researchers.
