Indore-1 is one of the important assembly constituencies of Madhya Pradesh. Earlier Congress Party had huge influence here, but for last 15 years BJP is quite dominant in this constituency. Main fight for this seat is between Sudarshan Gupta of BJP and Preeti Agnihotri of Congress.
