Lok Sabha Elections 2019: A look at second phase polling
New Delhi, Apr 17: The voting for the second phase is all set to take place across 97 constituencies in 12 states on April 18. According to National Election Watch and Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), there are 423 (27%) candidates in the second phase of Lok Sabha election with assets worth Rs 1 crore and above. There are 1644 candidates in fray in the second phase.
In the second phase of Lok Sabha elections, all parliamentary constituencies of Tamil Nadu will undergo voting, a big chunk of 14 constituency in Karnataka, 10 in Maharashtra which is to vote in four phases, 5 each in the states of Assam, Bihar and Odisha, 3 each in West Bengal and Chhattisgarh, 2 in Jammu and Kashmir, while one each in Puducherry and Manipur.
