Zaveri bazaar blasts: Two from bengaluru picked up
Bengaluru, March 30: The Mumbai Anti Terrorism Squad has picked up two persons from Bengaluru in connection with the Zaveri bazar blasts case.
An ATS team, which landed in the city this morning picked up two persons from Frazer Town for questioning.
The two persons taken for questioning are Dr Shahid and Saddam Khan. Their names are said to have come up during the questioning of Dr Afaq a resident of Bhatkal who was last week taken to Mumbai on a transit remand.
The 13/7 blast probe:
Dr Afaq and several others were arrested by the Karnataka police last month. It was alleged that they were part of the Indian Mujahideen and had supplied arms to the other operatives who carried out the blasts at Zaveri bazaar which is known as the 13/7 blasts case.

During the investigation conducted first by the Karnataka police it was alleged that these boys were part of the same module as Yasin Bhatkal. The police also said that they had played a role in the Dilsukhnagar blasts at Hyderabad as well.
