20-Year-Old Fatally Injured in Altercation with Friends in Faridabad

A 20-year-old man was allegedly killed during a dispute with friends in Roshan Colony, Asavati village, police reported on Friday. The incident occurred on Wednesday night, and the body was discovered near Deeg village the following day.

According to police, the deceased was identified as Pratap Singh alias Piyush, from Pul Prahladpur in Delhi. Nahar Singh, the father of the deceased, filed a complaint stating that he had built a house in Roshan Colony three years ago. Although no one resides there permanently, they occasionally visit and sleep in it.

Details of the Incident

On Wednesday at around 7:30 pm, Piyush went to the house with friends Anuj, Cheeni, Batla, and Neeraj—all from Pul Prahladpur. That night, Piyush called his father to inform him that the house doors were open. "After this there was no further conversation between them," Nahar Singh mentioned in his complaint.

The next day, Piyush's friend Sandeep went to Delhi and handed over the house keys to Nahar Singh's daughter Sheetal. When she inquired about Piyush's whereabouts, Sandeep claimed that the police had taken him away. Nahar Singh then rushed to the spot and learned that a fight had erupted between his son and Pradeep.

Search and Discovery

During searches near Deeg village, Piyush's body was found. Nahar Singh expressed suspicions that his son was murdered by his friends. Following this complaint, an FIR was registered at Sadar police station in Ballabhgarh on Thursday against unidentified individuals under relevant provisions.

A senior police officer stated that after conducting a post-mortem examination, the body was handed over to Piyush's family. Raids were also conducted to apprehend the suspects involved in the case. The motive behind the murder remains unclear at this stage.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities seek to determine the circumstances leading to Piyush's death.
