Youth beaten to death in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar (UP), Feb 2: A 22-year-old youth was beaten to death allegedly by four persons over a dispute at Kairana town in Shamli district, police said.

A case has been registered against the accused-Kala, Anshul, Chander and Pankej, who are absconding, police said, adding that search was on to nab them.

The body of the victim, Vikas, has been sent for postmortem, they said.

Meanwhile, in another incident a body of 38-year-old Shiv Kumar was found at Umerpur village in Shamli district yesterday, police said.

A case has been registered against unidentified, and the body has been sent for postmortem, police added.
