Who Is Shambhavi Choudhary?

At just 25, Shambhavi Choudhary scored a big win in Bihar's Samastipur constituency, making her the youngest Member of Parliament in India. She ran for the Lok Janshakti Party and defeated Sunny Hazari from the Congress by a huge margin of 187251 votes. Coming from a family deeply involved in politics, with her father Ashok Choudhary holding a prominent position in the Janta Dal (United). He transitioned from Congress to JD(U) though. Additionally, her late grandfather Mahavir Choudhary being a Congress leader, Shambhavi's victory seemed almost destined. Furthermore, she is the daughter-in-law of Acharya Kishore Kunal, a social reformer and former IPS officer. She's educated, having completed her Masters in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics.

Who Is Sanjana Jatav?

Sanjana Jatav, also 25, won from Rajasthan's Bharatpur constituency, defeating BJP's Ramswaroop Koli by a significant margin of 51,983 votes. She had previously contested in the 2023 Assembly elections, narrowly missing victory by just 409 votes. Her husband, Kaptan Singh, is a constable in the Rajasthan Police Force.

Who Is Pushpendra Saroj?

Pushpendra Saroj, part of the Saroj political lineage, secured victory in the Kaushambi parliamentary constituency under the Samajwadi Party. He won against the incumbent MP Vinod Kumar Sonkar by a substantial margin of 103,944 votes. His father, Inderjit Saroj, a former five-time MLA and Minister in Uttar Pradesh, serves as his inspiration.

Who Is Priya Saroj?

Priya Saroj, daughter of three-time MP Toofani Saroj, won from the Machhlishahr seat, defeating her BJP opponent Bholanath by 35,850 votes. Her win not only showcases her political skills but also her commitment to her family's legacy in public service.
