Yogi Adityanath becoming UP CM is the best news of 21st century, says Uma Bharti
New Delhi: Priest-turned-politician Yogi Adityanath is all set to take oath as Uttar Pradesh chief minister on Sunday. Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma will be sworn in as Deputy chief ministers of the state.
Before the swearing-in ceremony, Maurya has said that he has no issues with Adityanath being chosen as CM. While speaking to ANI, Maurya said,"No issues with Adityanath being chosen as CM. I have been entrusted with responsibility of Dy CM; will work on law & order situation.''
Meanwhile, Minister of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Uma Bharti has also expressed happiness over his appointment and said that Yogi becoming UP CM is the best news of 21st century.
"For me Modi ji being the PM of India, & my younger brother Yogi ji becoming UP CM is the best news of the 21st century", said the union minister.
She also seemed hopeful that Yogi would focus on development in the state. "Yogiji vikaas aur rashtravaad ko saath leke chalenge, aur vaampanthiyon ke gaal pe ye sab se bada jhaapda pada hai," she added. (Yogi will simultaneously focus on development and nationalism, which is like a slap on the face of leftist).
Yogi met Governor Ram Naik on Saturday evening and staked claim to form the government in the state. Talking to reporters at Raj Bhavan, he said, he would follow Prime Minister Narendra Modi's slogan 'Sab ka saath, Sab ka vikas' and ensure all round development of the state.
