Yogi Adityanath Strategizes with BJP for Milkipur Assembly Bypoll

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath convened a meeting with BJP officials to assess the party's readiness for the Milkipur Assembly bypoll in Ayodhya district. This bypoll follows the election of Awadhesh Prasad of the Samajwadi Party to the Faizabad Lok Sabha seat.

The BJP's recent loss in Faizabad, shortly after the Ram Temple consecration, has been perceived as a setback. During the meeting, Adityanath emphasized booth management and provided comprehensive guidance on its various aspects, according to a statement from his office.

Focus on Booth Management

Adityanath urged party workers to stay connected with the public and communicate the government's development efforts. He highlighted that these schemes benefit all sections of society. The CM also encouraged workers to counter opposition attempts to mislead people and stressed the need for officials to remain active.

The Chief Minister criticized the opposition for deceiving voters in the Lok Sabha elections. He pointed out that the Constitution had been upheld primarily during BJP governments, whereas several democratically elected governments were dismissed under Congress rule at the Centre.

Engagement with Public Campaigns

Adityanath called for active participation in the "Booth Jeeto, Chunav Jeeto" campaign, emphasizing booth management and constant engagement with beneficiaries of government schemes. He also instructed party workers to connect with every family over the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign, scheduled between August 13 and August 15.

The meeting was attended by state ministers Surya Pratap Shahi, Satish Chandra Sharma, Girish Chandra Yadav, Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh, BJP district president Sanjeev Singh, and other leaders.
