Yogi Adityanath Launches ₹1,706 Crore Development Projects in Jalaun to Boost Infrastructure and Connectivity

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects worth Rs 1,706 crore in Jalaun district on Thursday, marking a major infrastructure push across sectors like roads, education, health, water supply, rural and urban development.

Event Highlights

At a public event held at Indira Stadium in Orai, the Chief Minister launched a total of 48 projects and distributed grants under several schemes, including Mission Shakti, agricultural machinery distribution, and Anti-Romeo Squad initiatives. Ministers Watantra Dev Singh and Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary were among those present at the ceremony.

Key Infrastructure Projects

• Inauguration of major roads such as Sihara-Pal-Sarsai-Rajpur Road, featuring a new bridge over the Yamuna River at Pal Ghat.
• Upgradation of the Konch-Moh-Mihini-Bobhan Road, including strengthened approaches and safety enhancements along the Pawan River.
• Widening and reinforcement of the Orai-Konch Road up to 27.03 km.
• Commissioning of 132 kV substations and transmission lines at Kutal and Khodera under the Green Energy Corridor initiative to enhance regional power distribution.

• Foundation stones laid for 400 kV and 220 kV substations at Mehwata to further strengthen the power grid.
• Construction plans for new residential and office buildings at Orai Tehsil Headquarters.
• Road widening and strengthening projects covering Orai-Konch-Nadigad, Eta-Korona, Jalawan-Nehil, Anina-Iroti, and Rakh-Khodar-Manhaga routes.
• Development of an access road to Jalaun Devi Temple, improving connectivity to the prominent religious site.
