Preparations for Kanwar Yatra

Adityanath emphasised the importance of respecting the faith of the devotees. He suggested setting up assistance camps along the Yatra route to help the general public. These camps should provide cold drinking water and shikanji, according to the statement.

The Chief Minister also instructed officials to monitor the Yatra route using drones. He directed the Public Works Department (PWD) and the Irrigation and Urban Development departments to complete road repairs on the kanwar route within 72 hours.

Ensuring Cleanliness and Safety

Adityanath stressed that there should be no dirt or waterlogging along the route. He called for effective solid waste management and good lighting throughout the Kanwar Yatra path. Additional street lights and transformers should be installed to ensure proper illumination.

During a review meeting, Adityanath addressed reports of dead animals floating in the Ganga canal, demanding immediate action to stop this issue. He also mentioned that the height of DJ music systems, commonly used by many kanwar groups, must not exceed the prescribed limit.

The Chief Minister's directives aim to ensure a smooth and respectful experience for all participants in the Kanwar Yatra.
