Yemen conflict: Third advisory for Indians issued

New Delhi, March 25: An advisory to Indians to leave Yemen has been issued by the Government of India on Wednesday. This is the third advisory that India has issued so far in the case of Yemen.

The advisory has been issued following the high risk that Indians face in Yemen. The last advisory was relating to travel which was issued in the month of January 2015.

Increasing violence:

There are still some Indians who are in Yemen who continue to stay there despite the advisory that has been issued in the past couple of months. The situation in Yemen has shown no signs of improvement in the past couple of months. The situation has gone from bad to worse due to the war being waged by various terrorist groups.

Avoid travel and conflict zones:

The advisory tells Indians not to travel to Yemen. Those who are in Yemen had been advised not to go into conflict zones.

They are told to contact the embassy in case they need to come back to India.
