YC workers' bid to show black flag to Kerala CM foiled
Kozhikode, Oct 5 Police today foiled an attempt by Youth Congress workers to stage a blackflag demonstration against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at the Karipur airport here over the private medical college fees issue.

Police said they removed a group of around 50 YC activists when they attempted to wave blackflags at a junction near the airport, about 25 km from here, as Vijayan arrived here to participate in a function tomorrow. A case had been registered, they said.
The Congress and Youth Congress workers have been agitating for the past several days demanding the scrapping of an agreement reached by the LDF government with the private colleges which they said had resulted in exorbitant fees.
