Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the first phase of the India International Convention Centre (IICC), known as YashoBhoomi, in Dwarka on his birthday. Additionally, he is expected to dedicate the extension of the Delhi Airport Metro Express line from Dwarka Sector 21 to a new metro station at Dwarka Sector 25. 1) YashoBhoomi Convention Centre:
- YashoBhoomi is a massive convention centre covering an area of over 73,000 square meters.
- It has been built at a cost of Rs 4,400 crore.
- The facility includes 15 convention rooms, a main auditorium, a grand ballroom, and 13 meeting rooms.
- In total, it can accommodate up to 11,000 delegates.
2) Cutting-Edge Features:
- YashoBhoomi boasts India's most extensive LED media facade, providing impressive visual displays.
- The spacious ballroom can host approximately 2,500 guests, making it suitable for grand events.
- The venue is equipped with advanced security measures to ensure the safety of all attendees.
3) World's Largest MICE Facility:
The convention centre encompasses a vast exhibition area spanning 1,07,000 square meters.
This ambitious project is being hailed as the world's largest Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) facility.

4) Plenary Hall:
The plenary hall within the convention centre can seat around 6,000 guests, making it ideal for large gatherings and conferences.
5) Connectivity via Metro:
YashoBhoomi will be linked to the Delhi Airport Metro Express line with the inauguration of a new metro station, 'Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25.'
Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector-25 Metro Station:
- This new metro station is set to become operational at 3 pm on the same day as its inauguration.
- The station features three subways: one connecting to the exhibition halls, convention centre, and central arena (735 meters in length).
- The second subway connects to the entry/exit points along the Dwarka Expressway.
- The third subway connects the metro station to the foyer of the future exhibition halls at Yashobhoomi.
- The journey from New Delhi station to 'Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25' will take approximately 21 minutes.
