'WTF Is X': Netizens Flood Memes To Vent Out Frustration Over Twitter's New Avatar

Netizens are not happy with Twitter's new avatar of 'X' at all. The bird-less look has not been received well by its millions of users across the globe.

For days, they have been venting out their frustration on Twitter using different hashtags. Now, they are putting out their unhappiness over the social media app's new look using the 'WTF Is X' hashtag.

People are flooding the platform with funny memes and videos to tell its CEO Elon Musk that they want the old look back. "X as a brand is lifeless and meaningless. The birds, tweets, and Twitter has a real life meaning and something that is pleasant. WTF is X? Dehumanizing. Unnatural. @elonmusk," a user told Musk.

The second user said, "Can some other billionaire buy twitter from Elon and restore it because wtf is x. I hate this."

"I miss the blue bird. Wtf is X? I already googled it, but I still can't move on from this new logo," third user stated. "I am keeping Twitter as is because wtf is X?! No one wants X," another netizen said.

Elon Musk and Twitter Chief Executive Officer Linda Yaccarino unveiled the logo for the social media platform last Monday that featured a white X on a black background as a replacement for the familiar blue bird symbol.

It has to be noted that Musk bought x.com back from PayPal in 2017, saying it had "sentimental value". He had co-founded x.com as an online bank in 1999 which later transformed into PayPal.
