Won't comment without reading tweet: Rijiju on Omar's 'spying' charge
Kanpur, Sep 4: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju today refused to comment on former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's allegation of "spying" on him, saying he won't do it without "reading" the tweet as it may "lead to a controversy".
"He (Omar) often tweets and since I have not read the tweet yet so I would not comment over it as it may lead to a controversy," Minister of state for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju said after meeting with scientists at DRDO-run Defence Materials and Stores Research and Development Establishment here.

Omar, the working President of opposition National Conference, today said a CID person was posted outside his residence to keep a watch on people coming and going out. "Mufti Govt brazenly spying on me.
A journalist interviewing me for a national daily just got stopped right outside my gate by CID person," he tweeted.
"She (journalist) was asked who she was and what the purpose of her visit was! Seriously guys if you want to know just ask me, I couldn't care less if you do," he added.
Addressing Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Omar wrote, "Dear Mufti Sb, if you and your apparatchiks want to know what I'm up to pick up the phone and ask me.
Please don't accost people outside my gate!".
