The National Commission for Women has strongly condemned Nitish Kumar's statements, describing them as regressive and insensitively disregarding women's rights and choices. The NCW called for an apology from Bihar's Chief Minister, asserting that his remarks deeply offended women across the country.

Rekha Sharma, the Chairperson of the NCW, demanded an unequivocal apology from Nitish Kumar, representing the sentiments of women throughout the nation. She asserted that the derogatory language used by the Chief Minister during his speech was a stain on society and called for accountability.

Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal also called for an immediate apology from the Bihar Chief Minister, strongly condemning the language he used while addressing the assembly.

In addition to these responses, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticized Nitish Kumar's comments, labeling them as the most misogynistic, vulgar, and patriarchal. They demanded his resignation, with Union Minister and senior BJP leader Ashwini Kumar Choubey stating that Kumar's remarks had undermined the dignity and decorum of democracy.

BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla also expressed strong disapproval of Nitish Kumar's language inside the assembly, characterizing it as vulgar, indecent, misogynistic, sexist, and patriarchal.
