Woman gangraped inside moving car in Haryana

Fatehabad (Har), Nov 2: A Dalit woman was allegedly raped inside a moving car by three men after offering her a ride on Narwana-Tohana road here, police said today.

The woman has alleged that while she was waiting for a conveyance to reach the railway station, a car stopped in front of her and the three accused offered her a ride, police said.

On the way, she was molested and raped by the trio, she has alleged in her complaint, police said.

The woman said that she was abandoned at Dahman village at about 8 PM, after three hours of confinement in the car, according to police.

Police team has so far not got any clue of the car as well as the accused, said Sandeep Kumar, SHO Tohana police station, adding that investigation was underway.

On victim's complaint, the police have registered case under relevant sections of the IPC, he said.
