Woman gang-raped in Agra, attempts suicide
Agra, Nov 19: A 20-year-old woman tried to commit suicide after she was allegedly raped by three youths in this Uttar Pradesh town, police said Wednesday.
The victim, a resident of Dahtora village in Jagdishpura area, had gone to meet a friend, Akash, who phoned her to come to a desolate house late Tuesday, police said.

Police said Akash left her and three of his friends came there and sexually abused her. She then jumped off the house which was on the third floor of a building. Villagers found her in a pool of blood and rushed her to a hospital.
Senior officials, including Senior Superintendent of Police Shalabh Mathur, met her at the hospital.
An FIR was registered Wednesday morning and police are looking for the three accused youths.
