Woman files complaint of obscene pictures posted on FB

Raigarh, Jan 19: A woman here has complained that an attempt was being made to defame her by allegedly posting her obscene photographs on a social networking site, police said. On the basis of her complaint, the district police have registered a case against an unidentified person in this connection, they said.

The woman, a resident of Chakdharnagar police station area, had made a written complaint to the office of the Superintendent of Police that some person was trying to defame her by posting her obscene pictures on Facebook, police officials said yesterday.

She had also mentioned that because of the post and some objectionable comments on it, she was finding it difficult to even move out of her home, they said. A probe is on into the matter, police added.
