Speculation is rife that the commando is part of the elite Special Protection Group (SPG), although her identity and branch of service remain unconfirmed. Female commandos have been integral to the SPG's operations for years, ensuring comprehensive security at high-profile locations like Parliament.

In Parliament, female SPG commandos are frequently positioned at gates for frisking female visitors and monitoring those entering or exiting the premises. Beyond these roles, since 2015, women have been part of the Close Protection Team (CPT). Currently, the SPG reportedly has around 100 female commandos serving in various capacities, from close protection to advanced security coordination.

Established in 1985, the SPG is tasked with providing close security to the Prime Minister, former prime ministers, and their immediate families. The group is renowned for its rigorous training in close protection, leadership, and professionalism, adopting cutting-edge techniques to enhance security.

Collaborating with the Intelligence Bureau and local police forces, the SPG remains at the forefront of ensuring the safety of India's top leaders.
