Woman attempts suicide at Delhi Metro

New Delhi, Aug 11: A 21-year-old woman today allegedly attempted to commit suicide by jumping in front of a Delhi Metro train, officials said.

The incident occurred at the Indraprastha metro station of the blue line at about 2:15 PM, they said.

The woman jumped onto the tracks before an approaching Metro train bound for Noida/Vaishali. "She was rushed to a nearby hospital in a serious condition," they said. After a few minutes of interruption, the train services were resumed, officials added.
