With Siddaramaiah campaign turning hectic, son Yathindra steps in
With Siddaramaiah touring the state extensively for the Karnataka election campaign, his son, Dr Yathindra has decided to pitch in. Siddaramaiah who is contesting from the Chamundeshwari assembly constituency has been hard pressed for time.

Dr. Yathindra stepped into his father's constituency and extensively campaigned for him. Yathindra is contesting from the Varuna seat which his father held twice.
Siddaramaiah faces a tough fight in Chamundeshwari from G T Deve Gowda, the sitting JD(S) MLA.
Yathindra took a break from Varuna and sought votes for his father. He urged the people to vote for the Congress on the basis of achievements in the last five years. He drew the voter's attention to a host of development measures undertaken by the government led by his father.
He said that the government was credited with setting up the new district administration office complex to the new building for Mysore Milk Union Limited ( Mymul), installation of statues of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and erstwhile ruler of Mysuru Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar.
