With Amit Shah in Parliament, the party is over for BJP MPs
In this backdrop, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had this to say to say to lawmakers at the BJP's parliamentary party meet.
Amit Shah had once locked out BJP leaders for arriving late for a meeting. A few days back he had asked for written explanation from Rajya Sabha MPs for being absent as a result of which a crucial amendment to a bill could not be passed.

Now, the man himself will be in the Rajya Sabha and for all BJP MPs in the upper house, the party is over. Shah is making his debut in the Rajya Sabha after winning the polls from Gujarat.
In this backdrop, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had this to say to say to lawmakers at the BJP's parliamentary party meet. " Leisure days are over. Amit Shah is here," Modi told party leaders.
This means that no being absent as Shah himself who is also boss of the party will be present in Parliament. Modi is also learnt to have said that Shah would make sure that MPs don't stay absent. Modi also said that the party is supreme. Despite so many reminders, many of you stay absent. You are nobody, I am nobody, the party is everything, Modi also told his MPs.
