Winter session of parliament begins today

New Delhi, Dec 5: 12-day long winter session of parliament begins today. Reportedly,

is set to corner the government on coal scam and misuse of CBI. Left parties are planning to raise price rise and communal violence issues.

BJP leaders got together to discuss their strategies on Wednesday. Reportedly, Lok Pal bill, Telangana issue and women's reservation will also be taken up during the session.

Contentious communal violence bill is likely to be tabled during the winter session. But BJP is likely to oppose it. According to the critics, the bill is an attempt to infringe on the Constitutional rights of a state.

BJP has also planned to raise internal security issues with a special emphasis on Patna blasts in which their leader Narendra Modi was targeted.
