Will win maximum seats, make Modi PM again: BS Yediyurappa

Former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Monday said that he will work hard to ensure Narendra Modi becomes Prime Minister again by winning the maximum number of seats in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

The BJP veteran's comments comes a day after prime minister Modi's special visit to Karnataka.

"PM Modi has confidence in me and I have confidence in him. To make sure Modi Ji becomes PM again, we will work hard towards winning maximum seats in Karnataka assembly elections and also Lok Sabha elections," Yediyurappa was quoted by ANI.

"The public's response is in favour of the BJP. We will get an absolute majority and form government in Karnataka," he added.

The BJP seems to be falling back on its seasoned oarsman B S Yediyurappa making him a key poll mascot, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as it shores up campaign in poll-bound Karnataka.
