Will the politics in Karnataka play out in the resorts again?

Three exit polls have predicted a hung assembly n Karnataka. The exit polls are giving a slight edge to the Congress, which is an indicator that the JD(S) is likely to play kingmaker again.

In the 224-member Karnataka, the magic number to form the government is 113.

Republic TV is giving 85-100 to the BJP and 94-1108 to the Congress. For the JD(S) the prediction is 24-32 and in the case of other, it is 2-6.

TV 9 on the other hand predicted 99-109 for the Congress and for the BJP it is 88-98. The JD(S) on the other hand is predicted to win 21-26 while for the others it is 0-4.

Zee News has predicted 79-94 for the Congress, while in the case of the Congress, it is 103-118. The exit poll has predicted 25-33 for the JD(S) and in the case of the others it is 2-5.

These numbers suggest that the state is heading for a hung assembly. This would mean that the JD(S) would end up playing kingmaker once again in the state if these numbers are final. The results would be out on May 13.

In 2018 there was plenty of drama as the BJP fell short of a majority. The BJP ended up as the single largest party, but failed to form the government.

Until the Congress and JD(S) formed the government, there was plenty of drama which played out in many resorts in Karnataka. The BJP failed to form the government.
