Will BJP win Karnataka elections? Heres what Jan Ki Baat opinion poll says

The survey report has predicted that there is a neck-and-neck fight between Congress and BJP in the upcoming Karnataka assembly polls.

The survey was conducted between March 25 and April 11 and 30,000 respondents across various districts of the state took part in the opinion poll.

The ruling party is set to put up a good performance in the Kittur Karnataka region while continuing to have a stranglehold in coastal Karnataka. However, it is set to lose a big chunk of votes in the central Karnataka.

The survey claims that the BJP would emerge victorious in 98-109 seats while the Congress, which has been dreaming to come back to power, is predicted to win 89-97 seats. The JDS is expected to bag between 25 to 29 seats.

It means the JDS might possibly play the role of the kingmaker again.

It has to be noted that the Jan ki Baat survey had predicted the BJP to get 95-114 seats and in the end the saffron party managed to win 104 seats. It had also predicted the grand old party to win 75 to 82 seats and it bagged 81 seats.

The survey said that JDS will get 32 to 43 seats, and it won 37 seats.
