Following the high-octane Assembly elections across five states, the spotlight has now shifted to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections next year. The recent state polls, dubbed as the "semi-final" before the 2024 finale, concluded with a 3-2 victory for the BJP. This secured their hold in Madhya Pradesh while also seizing control of Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan from the Congress.

As the general election looms just a few months away, the BJP-led NDA is capitalizing on the momentum of the Modi wave, relying on the appeal and popularity of their most prominent campaign figure. Meanwhile, despite four pivotal meetings, the Opposition coalition I.N.D.I.A has struggled to present a unified Prime Ministerial candidate.

Following their fourth gathering in New Delhi, TMC chief Mamata Banerjee proposed Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge as the face of their coalition, a suggestion supported by AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.

Meanwhile, ABP and CVoter conducted a survey among the populace to determine their preferred leader between Congress figurehead Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Among the respondents, 59 percent voted for PM Modi, 32 percent for Rahul Gandhi, 4 percent expressed they wouldn't choose either, and 5 percent had no opinion on the matter.
