Widespread rains in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Aug 3: Rains continued to lash several parts of Rajasthan today with weatherman forecasting heavy showers tomorrow.

Danpur in Banswara recorded maximum of 15 cm rainfall followed by Kanva in Dungarpur which received 14 cm rains till this morning since yesterday, the Met department said.

Bharatpur, Kota, Jodhpur and Ajmer received heavy rains while Jaipur, Kota, Churu, Pilani, Ajmer and Dabok recorded 34.8mm, 24.6 mm, 20.8 mm, 18.4 mm, 9.9mm and 0.6mm rains, respectively, till evening since morning today.

The Met department has issued heavy rainfall warning for isolated areas in the state.
