Tennis player Radhika Yadav was shot dead allegedly by her father at their Gurugram residence on Thursday.
The incident has not only shocked people but left them wondering what triggered Radhika's father Deppak Yadav to allegedly murder her. According to a report in the Telegraph India, he fired five rounds of bullets from behind while cooking at 11.30 am on Thursday at his residence in Sector 57.

What Is The Motive Behind The Incident?
Yadav was not happy with his daughter running a tennis academy. As per a report in Hindustan Times, taunts by some of his family members on surviving from his daughter's money had angered him and he wanted his daughter to close her academy. However, Radhika was unwilling to close the academy.
"He wanted her to shut down the academy, but she refused. He finally shot her dead over the same dispute," the website quoted assistant commissioner of police Yashwant Yadav as saying.
During the investigation, Deppak has claimed that he is suffering from depression over the comments made by people leading a life on his daughter's money. He has confessed that his pride was hit following the humiliation, the FIR, accessed by HT, filed at Gurugram's Sector 56 police station, said. The cops are trying to investigate other possible angles in the murder case.
