Why senior party leaders not blamed for Cong's election debacle?, asks Subramanian Swamy

Swamy questioned why none of the senior leaders of Congress were being blamed for its election debacle. In 1997, when Congress had lost elections, it had blamed then prime minister P.V Narasimha Rao for the defeat, said Swamy.
Antony had on Friday given a clean chit to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who led the party's election campaign and said he was not to blame for the party's general elections debacle. Antony blamed corruption, inflation and media for the party's rout.
"In 1997, when the Congress Party had lost under the leadership of Narasimha Rao, then a committee had put the entire blame on Narasimha Rao. His economic reforms were also criticized for the defeat. Today, they have said that the government and the media are responsible for the debacle," Swamy said, as reported by ANI.
"A K Antony was working on Sonia Gandhi's commands, and he thinks whatever Sonia Gandhi says is correct, he is working on her signs," he added.
